It’s that time of the year again!
It’s International Women’s Day and the entire world is pausing the usual buzzing to celebrate women all over the world and have conversations around equality, inclusion, and diversity. This year’s theme is #InspireInclusion which is a call to commit to inclusion. It’s a call to imagine a world where women are no longer victims of gender discrimination.
Currently, women only hold about 26.7% of tech related jobs. That means if I tell you to close your eyes and imagine a Software Engineer, an AI/Machine Learning Expert, a Scrum Master, a Cloud Engineer, there’s a high chance you’d imagine a man. One of our missions here at Careerco is to partner with as many women as possible to build tech careers and to become global tech talents.
We have women students enrolled in our hands-on Business Analysis Programs, Agile Scrum Master Programs and QA Software programs. Some of these students have gone on to land their dream jobs in renowned tech companies and it’s a joy to see the hardwork they put in become rewarding. Our success won’t have been possible without the women within our team.
